Research Committee

The Research Committee promotes excellence in pediatric sedation care by overseeing and facilitating endeavors that advance the field of pediatric sedation. The Research Committee providing oversight and management of the Pediatric Sedation Research Consortium (PSRC), a multicenter database/repository of sedation encounters that collects clinically-meaningful patient and procedure variables and outcomes and forms the basis of sedation research and benchmarking for SPS Institutional Members. The Research Committee serves to provide the Society’s approval and endorsement of research projects and publications, and is responsible for administering the SPS Scholarly Grant and the PSRC Research Support Grant.
