The Nursing and Allied Health Committee of the Society for Pediatric Sedation® (SPS) is a growing group, comprised of nurses, nurse practitioners and child life specialists. This group is dedicated to standardizing care for children and their families, sharing experiences and expertise, supporting those new to the provision of pediatric sedation and encouraging the clinical development and educational growth of all members.
The committee will function as a clearinghouse and provide opportunities for members to work with other SPS subcommittees as needed. At the annual conference, it will provide opportunities needed for involvement with subcommittees and recruit volunteers to sign up. The committee would meet annually at the conference to report on their work with these subcommittees. NAH committee chairperson(s) would be available as resources for the committee members.
